In 2012 I was once again lucky enough to be able to attend a class with Larry Elmore. I took my first Elmore class in 2010, and I went up a couple of levels in painting, and this time around I learned all new feats and gained another level at least.<\/p>\n
Larry class is set up for people of all skills, and to keep himself from going crazy, he gives us all a drawing to start from. This may seem unhelpful for those who are already experienced in painting, but it cuts out a whole other section of teaching, composition. That is a week on its own. So if we all get the same drawing to start off with, Larry can concentrate on teaching us his exact painting techniques.<\/p>\n
I just wanted to share my evolution of the painting from the 2012 class. First I will show of the finished piece, then you can follow the journey in the gallery below.<\/p>\n
